All about Minangkabau matrilineal culture in a book (ADAT - The Legacy of Minangkabau)

In the name of God, the Most Loving, the Most Merciful
If you are curious on what matrilineal culture is about, I recommend this book to get a more in depth view of the culture. This book is written by a Malaysian politician who is himself a Minangkabau. Most Minangkabau live in Indonesia and Malaysia where their culture are recognized by the governments and many efforts are done by the governments to ensure the matrilineal culture remains alive

Below is the launch of the book (in Malay) . The book however is written in English.
